What does your session include?
Our treatment sessions bring elements together from various modalities, techniques, tools, and products to create efficiency in providing total body relief and functionality. Each session begins with a 5-15 minute consultation with your therapist, so you can work together to choose the most effective combination of treatment options to achieve the best outcome for you.

Specialized bodywork techniques, focused on neuromyofascial connections (fascia + muscles + nervous system), are used to help restore fascia to its optimal, hydrated, healthy state. Results often include ease of pain, more degrees of freedom in movement, and decompression of the nervous system.

Microcurrent Point Stimulation helps to down-regulate sympathetic responses of the nervous system, allowing your body to begin relaxing and priming the tissues for further work. If you have scars from past injuries or surgeries, these may be included in the microcurrent work in order to release any adhesions and restore proper flow through the nerves and lymphatic system.
When appropriate and desired, deep tissue and trigger point work is also employed, designed to reach the deep portions of thick muscles, specifically the individual muscle fibers. We focus on freeing the fascia around the muscles and using deep muscle compression, along with other techniques, to unstick muscle fibers and release toxins and deeply held patterns of tension. We work slowly through the layers to prevent pain or bruising, and we only work as deep as the tissue is ready for.

By including such techniques as the gentle holds of CranioSacral therapy, we work to gradually release nervous system stress and to relieve soft tissue tension, allowing the body to return to its natural state of homeostasis, or internal stability.
Tools, such as FasciaBlasters, massage cups, and/or percussion instruments may be used to aid with down-regulating sensitive tissue and achieving deeper releases. Products with carefully chosen ingredients for the muscles, joints, and skin may be used to enhance the treatment and provide longer-lasting results. Benefits may include the calming of nerves and muscles, reduction of swelling and inflammation, pain relief, and hydration of the skin.
After the hands-on portion of your session has concluded, you will have a post-consultation with your therapist for recommended home care and further treatment options.
